Sue's Health Updates - And The Beat Goes On
For the first time since going on plasmapheresis, Sue did NOT have a treatment today. They're going to slowly decrease her treatments and her drugs, and if all goes as well as can be hoped she may be an outpatient within a week.

The Weeding of the Year (and Mother's Weeding Hat) I've been longing to get online and share my happy news with all my friends whilst also settling into my new role as a married doe. As everybun (probably) now knows, I postponed my hen party from Friday due to the time pressures of Live Hay'd and never imagined that my weeding would take place on Live Hay'd Day, making it even more of a day to remember. This just shows what a special buck my husbund is to secretly make all the arrangements as a surprise for me so that all I had to do was say ... 'Yes'! Sascha arrives with his mum: He arrived with Cedric's staff just after 11 on Sunday, met Mother, Una and my twins and I didn't even get time to polish my whiskers in time for the celerymony - he just accepted me as I was, complete with my ruffled fur and morning breath. I had a quick groom, picked up my bouquet of fresh mint, parsley and other herbs, sniffed my red roses and then off I went feeling like the most loved earless-doe in Lagomorphia. Meeting Sascha for the first time following our long, loving distant romance: Don't we look good together: Unfortunately, Best Man Cedric couldn't make it - I think Millie was worried that Mother might snatch him away but it was fine as Bentley stepped into the role. With my bunch of red roses and weeding bouquet brought all the way from Leeds by Sascha: It smelled REALLY good, especially the fresh mint: Mother checks Sascha's dowry: ... But then I'm afraid to say she got a little carried away with the excitement of the big occasion: Following our short celerymony, we consummated our union on the patty-o - Sascha had been worried about not knowing what to do and suffering from pre-wedding nerves, but he was a true gent. I'm a little embarrassed at posting this photo, but I know it will only be seen by my friends: All too soon it was time for the staff to leave for Live Hay'd so we retreated to the privacy of Burrow Court for a quiet afternoon-bunnymoon and a rest. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ After Live Hay'd all our friends came to visit us, including Pebbles' mum who will be adopting one of our sons if we have any, or maybe a daughter if we don't. We met our visitors who toasted our weeding with pink grapefruit squash then danced together on the patty-o, where we had another try for our family and finally posed for our weeding photographs to record our special day. I know everybunny has been longing to see Mother's weeding hat which Sascha arranged to be custom-made for her by a specialist hat designer: My friends will remember how excited Mother was when she collected it from the sorting office and signed for it with her pawprint: Didn't he choose well - Mother LOVES it! Here it is, modelled from each angle: With Mother, wearing her weeding hat: Mother and Sascha meet and she gives our union her blessing: Very generously, she even allows my new husbund to try on her weeding hat (this must be the ultimate compliment!): I thought it was only fair that my best man should also be allowed to try it on (I quite like Bentley - he's a good man even if Mother behaves very strangely towards him...): Following my weeding, I even tried it on myself. Sascha - do you think it suits me: Sascha leaves for home and I return to my apartment, now feeling a little lonely, but I have his bouquet to tuck into for my supper: Now that it's all over, I'm settling down into married life, have been practising signing my new name and rearranging my apartment for when we have our family: In the above photo, you can't actually see what I'm hiding - so here's the surprise: Yes, I've made the nest already. Everybunny reading this will know that most mums-to-be build their nest at any time from 3-4 days before giving birth to 2 days following delivery or, in the case of a false pregnancy, usually build their nest around day 18-20; but I want to have everything ready for 6-7th August - the day will come very quickly. My new husbund, Sascha, and I would like to thank everybun and your staff for helping to make our day truly special and memorable. Current Mood: lovedCurrent Music: Bunny in Love |

Busy boy! Hi everybun, As Jazz is pretending to be far too busy to perform her LIA duties, I have spent the evening reading through everybun's journal for June and made the appropriate notes on what everybun has been up to during that month. This means that when Jazz FINALLY gets around to posting the nommy-nayshuns for June's awards, everybun will know that it has been all due to MY hard werk! I didn't realise what I was taking on when I became the Assistant Head of the LIA....Ollie must have had the pay-shunts of a saint to put up wuth jazz for so long - no bunder he headed off to the Bridge early.... I'm off for a nap... Boz xx P.S. Jazz hasn't bitten me on the bum today!! Current Mood: accomplishedCurrent Music: Hey there darling Ollie |

Operation Poison Hey everybun
Today we have with the help of Maddie and Auntie Karen discovered Operation Poison an evil plan to poison us. Mother (thump) has been feeding us below bunny standard mix!!! Our Mr Johnson bunny mix is covered in blue mould, we haven't eaten any of this as we had to dig right into the middle of the sack. We have of course taken appropriate action firstly taken Maddie's advice and e-mailed Mr Johnson asking if they would like us to send a sample of our BLUE MIX. Thankfully, Hatty was intelligent enough to order a further sack of mix from Auntie Karen at the weekend so we won't starve.
Our second course of action has been to ensure that all trace of Operation Poison is removed from the burrow, we both feel slightly uncomfortable that we have to rely on the enemy to clean up this mess. Whilst our mother (thump) cleans, it a good job we have lots of "Keep it Clean" (Maybe Mother (thump) was having second thoughts about Operation Poison), we are considering our next action.
We have drafted the following
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * WANTED WANTED WANTED WANTED Two loving French lops seeking a caring 2foot Mother / Slave. Must have plently of spare pellet tokens to spend on us. Time to cuddle and snuggle us. Be able to look after our every need and generally be a hop over and most importantly not try to poison us. Will consider a straight swap please phone 01234 567890 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Anybun else got any better suggestions, or would like to swap with us.

The Weeding Photos.... soon! I know everybun is longing to see Inga and Sascha's weeding photos but we may have to keep you in suspense for just a little longer.... Mum's compiling the two sets of video clips onto 2 DVDs so she can view all the clips together but this produces a HUGE file to write to each DVD, uses up 90% of the PC resources so all programs have to be shut down while running it - and it can take 22 hours to render and write to the DVD. This means I can do very little on my 'puter while this is in progress so I'm being slow to respond to my emails, can't upload the weeding pics and, worst of all, I can't even shop!!! As soon as the second DVD is written, which might not be until tomorrow afternoon, I'll ensure everything is uploaded so all our friends can share in the happy couple's big day and join in the celerybrayshons for the Weeding of the Year. My News I have so much catching up to do but for now I am so egg-sighted I'm just going to tell you my news. I waited until Emma said everything was all sorted out for sure but now I can tell you: Emma has found a house in Noo Cassul where we can live together! The other 2 foots in the house are the nurses at my V-E-T's, so they will be able to help look after me, they are very excited to have a house bunny and there are DANDELIONS IN THE GARDEN! There is a woof as well, but Emma says woofs don't eat dandelions. Also it is quite close to Nana Carol's so I can go for visits. Ian is usually at Auntie Steph's house these days which is why it is better for me to go to my Emma. We will be moving in a few weeks, we aren't sure eggsachtly when yet. Emma says she has lots and lots of stored up snuggles and scratches for me. She is very scared something will go wrong because it is all too furpect! Emma is in Liverpool at the moment, and in Liverpool the 10th of July will be Beat Alls day. This made Emma think of Merry and Ringo's 2foots, because she knows they love the Beat Alls and that their mummy wants to come to Liverpool. Emma is sending them some speshul Liverpool things across the pond, and she thought that on the 10th she will wear silly fur and think of Sue, and send her speshul Liverpool vibes to get well. If any other 2foots want to see about this and the speshul vet for poorly 2foot kits who are getting all the gold coins from it (and maybe give them some gold coins, because Emma says it is a very special and wonderful vet,.She went there when she was a kit herself, and they have the name of her little 2foot kit in a magic book there)they can go here: http://www.beatlesday.tv and here to give gold coins (Maddie can tell you how to do it!): http://www.justgiving.com/beatlesdayHow are all my bunfriends? I'm so excited about Live Hay'd, will it be every year now? Current Mood: bouncy |

Live Hay'd After fully de-briefing the 2-foots I can report that Live Hay'd was an outstanding success! I have been listening to the recordings this evening and apart from the fact that the 2-foot with no fur on the top of his head is useless they are very good indeed! Maddie has posted lots of pictures on her journal so you can look at them to get a flavour of what the DVD will be like when it is released, but all I can say is I'm sure that you won't be disappointed!!! Maddie & I need to do some post production work to add links and things, and we need to get the Ameribun input as soon as Merry & Ringo's pet 2-foot has been mended, but I can tell you right now it will be a thing of beauty and therefore a joy forever! I might be in Trubble.... Mummy's just had a telly-fone call from her bank querying some payments on her piece of plastic. Now she's looking very sternly at me..... Ooooops! The bank told mummy that she's been on a happy spending spree. Amongst other things, she's bought a new mobile phone from Vodaphone, topped it up twice over the weak-end at £50 each go, has been buying lots of nice things from a company called 'Click and Buy', has ordered some meddy-sins to make bits she hasn't got grow bigger and yesterday she spent the afternoon placing bets on the gee-gees. She KNOWS she was at Live Hay'd yesterday and that the piece of plastic was back in the burrow, where it still is. All I can say everybunny, is when you go shopping, spread out your purchases so that they aren't flagged as suspicious by the banks that make the pieces of plastic, and then you might just get away with them. Now her (aka MY) piece of plastic has been cancelled and I have to wait 5 days for a new one. Should I call the bank using my new Vodaphone mobile (if I have enough credit left)? Live Hay'd 2008 Well, I was supposed to be doing my shopping now but I sense everybun can't wait to see a selection of the Live Hay'd photos, so here goes.... All the setting up was done in pouring rain and as soon as the gazebos were erected providing shelter for our soggy slaves, the sky turned blue and the sun shone so the performances took place outside. Setting up the first gazebo: Hatty and Austin's staff bring along a second and much larger gazebo to provide more shelter: Everything is set up, the sun comes out and Live Hay'd is soon in full swing: Cedric and Millie's 2-foot with no fur on the top of his head plays his wooden box with strings to kick off Live Hay'd: Filming Cedric and Millie's 2foot with no on the top of his head: Hay, Glorious Hay sung in glorious sunshine: Mum filming: Hatty and Austin's mum takes to the stage: Just what do these 2foots think they are?: Cedric and Millie's furred and unfurred 2foots perform together: The staff seem to be enjoying themselves: Jazz and Boz's mum - looking the true professional that she is (even if she won't agree): Jazz and Boz's staff perform together, filmed by mum: Pebble's mum plays the tambourine in a group song: Even Uncle J puts in a token appearance: Sascha's and Bruno's mum's perform an unrehearsed song together and Cedric's slave picked up the tune in seconds on his wooden box with strings: My new 2foot mother-in-law: Bruno's mum takes a turn: Mum adopts a different angle: Another group song: Onlookers enjoy the unexpected riverside entertainment: Feed the Buns - the finale. Just WHAT was going on here? And why wasn't mum safely hidden behind her picture-masheens?? And, all too soon, Live Hay'd 2008 comes to a close and our slaves posed for a group photo: We're now looking forward to Live Hay'd 2009 (I have not forgotten to post my Inga's weeding photos or the pics of my weeding hat. They need individual attention but today thoughts seem to be of Live Hay'd so I'll hold them until tomorrow so the egg-sight-mint and anticipation can build; then all will be revealed.) Monday Yay to be back from my trip. I had lots of fun, but being home is very nice. Ian even cleaned the nest AND fed me "the mushroom meal"-- one of my favorites that he makes. Things I want to do this week: - Read some of my CSS books
- Draw
- Drag my ass to the gym
- Sign up for the Athenaeum trip to the North Shore
Things I'm cooking this week: - Cheese enchiladas with green sauce
- Chicken tostadas
- Vegetable and tofu red curry
- Chicken tika
This book ROCKS--I devoured it on the plane. Best contemporary novel I've read in years. Welp, time to get ready for work. I'm nervous about what popped up while I was gone. AKK. |

We are back!! Hello everybunn; we are back! Our 2foot is still suffering from feeling very low and we do try to help, but you know there is only so much us bunns can do. We do thank everyone for your lovely emails and to Princess Taz for her card which did put a smile on our 2foots face. A few Fridays ago our dear TiGgEr was made to go to sleep forever and is now playing with the other bunnies over Rainbow Bridge. He had a poorly leg and had some moved to his toilet area and so was not able to go properly. Still, we know he is weeing and pooing and binkying now with his friends. We do hope everybunn received their copy of our newsletter. We really do need pictures of our friends to go into our next newsletter and please do remember to keep your stories coming in for our comp-tea-tish-shun. (rabbit.corner@yahoo.co.uk). We are sending our love and snuggles to everybunn.

Live Hay'd Hi everybun, We were proud of both our 2-foots as they went straight to Live Hay'd from church yesterday. They got home about 9.30pm and only played with us for a short while because they were 'tired'!! From what they told me it sounds like they were having fun all afternoon, singing songs and pretending to hop like a bunny!! (now I would like to see that!!) They enjoyed meeting all the other 2-foots and promised me that they talked about us all day!! The 2-foots have lots of photos of the day, but I am going to let Maddie post her selection first and then I may put some more on later. Oh - I am in the woof house - AGAIN! When mummy got in last night, she gave Boz lots of loves and noticed he had a little bite mark on his rump!! It was already healing up nicely and not to big, but I still got a stern talking to - oops! Daddy had popped down to check on us the night before and he noticed a few tufts of fur around, but he didn't notice Boz's injury!! Mummy has checked Boz again this morning and he's fine - He's a brave lad because he doesn't complain when I give him a nip. It's just these 2-foots that don't bunderstand the bunny hierachy!! I need to hopologise for not posting the LIA nommy-nayshuns yet - it's been a busy few weeks and it's not looking any easier this week. Daddy is away until Fursday, so I will be kept busy looking after mummy! Daddy is going to Live-her-pool to talk about boobies for a few days! When Daddy comes home, another 2-foot will be coming! It's daddy's brother - I have met him before, but Boz hasn't. He's nice because he likes us buns, so we don't mind him coming to stay. Anyway, I will try to get the LIA stuff sorted out as soon as possible, so please be patient! Jazz xx P.S. Mummy came home with a big bag of food for us and some more salt licks! I LOVE my salt lick - mummy keeps saying that she will film me using my salt lick because I have a little routine that I do - I'm not going to tell you about it now, but if they film me, I will ask everybun else what they do with their salt licks!! In the dog house... Mother went away on Thursday and left me all alone. Kit Alex was on his Duke of Edinburgh and didn't get back until Friday. I was all alone all day AND all night !! How cruel. The plan was that she pass the door on Sunday morning and pick up kit Alex and leave me all alone AGAIN whilst they went to live Hay'd. But mothers car started pouring smoke into the car through the vents at Tiverton and she had to stop of the motorway and call the insurance people. It appears that she is 'riding the clutch' and has burnt it. The man took her to a garage and she has been told that it will cost about £800 to replace the clutch in a Mitsubishi!!! That means I wont get carrots, or hay or anything if she has no money left. How selfish. The good news is that Mother was planning to use the bus to get to Bristol today - but has now found out that there isnt one from here. Good. That means she will spend some time with me and I wont be left alone again so soon. Sooo... my mother let me down at Live Hay'd. No representative from me at all. I think she is taking this new job too seriously and should pay more attention to what is important. Me. Boris. Lonely. Current Mood: cranky |

They are home! We were very pleased to see our mummy and daddy, they didn't get home until 23:10! I managed a binky and was richly rewarded with tasty apple chip treats, yum yum.
Mummy quick erected Hatty's tent, I helped by playing with the poles, throwing them up in the air. I'm not sure I like it! I got straight in but got lost and couldn't get out! Mummy had to help in the end, but have found out that it's good to push around!
Our slaves look very tired, particularly mummy! She has muttered something about having a very good time but too tired to us more.
Was she a good representative? We hope so.

Sue's Health Update - A New Hope? (No, not Star Wars.)
More good news on the Sue front today.
First, her platelets are up to 130, so they're definitely doing the right thing as far as that goes. It will still probably be several days at best before they start talking about releasing her, but at least we're moving in the right direction.
Secondly, her creatanine(sp?) level - the waste product they measure her kidney function by - is surprisingly low. This raises the possibility, which we didn't dare hope for, that maybe once this attack is over her kidneys will go back to functioning enough that she can live without dialysis again. It's just a wild thought at this point, but the numbers we're seeing do seem to raise that possibility.
Thanks for all the good wishes and so on,
Andy |

What a BUNDERFUL day Not only was it Live Hay'd Day today but .... I also o-fish-ally became a doe-in-law! Yes, Sascha and Inga became weeded shortly before Live Hay'd started, enjoyed a short bunnymoon in the privacy of Burrow Court during Live Hay'd, posed for their weeding photos after the big event and I was able to wear my new hat while I posed for my pics with my new bun-in-law. Despite the weather looking grim this morning and while setting up Live Hay'd, the rain stopped, the sun shone and Live Hay'd was soon in full swing with everyone singing along (with one notable eggs-ception). I have LOADS of photos and video footage of both of today's big events but mum's still hogging my 'puter to copy everything onto my hard drive which is taking aaaaaages, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to make you all wait until tomorrow to see my weeding hat and for a taster of Live Hay'd. I've watched just one of the video clips, filmed by Uncle J, and Live Hay'd looked unmissable. Current Mood: accomplishedCurrent Music: Bonding's for Bunnies |
